What you'll do:

As an IT Manager, your role will be integral to shaping the future of our client's technological landscape. You will lead the development of their IT vision, translating it into achievable goals that align with their overall business strategy. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing the development and maintenance of software applications that enhance operational efficiency. Collaborating with the Leadership Team, you will manage key IT projects across the business, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. A key part of your role will also involve ensuring robust cyber security measures are in place, managing relationships with managed service providers, and fostering a high-performing team.

* Develop the organisation's IT vision and translate it into achievable goals

* Oversee the development and maintenance of software applications tailored to enhance operational efficiency

* Work collaboratively with the Leadership Team to deliver IT projects across the business

* Ensure the business has a robust, and well-supported IT infrastructure

* Be responsible for cyber security, including appropriate monitoring, controls, and training

* Manage the relationship with the business IT managed services provider

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this IT Manager position is an experienced leader with a strong technical background. You bring to the table a deep understanding of IT systems, specifications, networks and computer systems. Your proven project planning and management skills and having experience managing developers. Your ability to communicate effectively with both tech-literate and non-technical staff sets you apart. Having worked within an SME environment where you had overall responsibility for the IT function gives you an edge. With at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, you are ready to take on this new challenge.
