IT & OT Infrastruture Engineer

We are pleased to be recruiting for an IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer on behalf of our industry leading client, who manufactures world famous consumer household brands & personal hygiene products. This is a large production and manufacturing plant, and the successful applicant will have experience in a similar environment

Responsibilities:

Starting at the beginning of September, you will join a small local team, based on site in this large manufacturing and packaging plant.

Carrying our routine IT and OT network / server tasks, such as maintenance, break / fix, back ups etc

Operating in a safe manner to ensure compliance with quality control and all on site H&S measures

You will also assist in the IT server rooms, for maintenance and other tasks around the site.

60 to 70% of the role is desk based work - the remaining time you will be around the site

The Hours:

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 or 09:00 to 17:00, can be flexible re timings if necessary

The Location:

Grays, Essex, RM20

Pay Rate

£19.23 to £24.03 per hour dependant on experience

About you:

• You will need to be physically fit and able to climb stairs, as this site does not have any lift facilities
• You must have Cisco & Stratix network switch experience
• Windows server experience
• WLAN and LAN experience
• You will have worked in IT on a manufacturing plant previously
