Job Description

As IT Project Manager you will be working as part of a newly established IT PMO, the I.T Project Manager is responsible for planning, execution and successful delivery of I.T lead projects I.T stream is required. PM shall lead projects, plan resources and govern those projects according to strict deadlines and within set and agreed budget, while adhering to the relevant PMO framework. Previous experience of working on similar projects with Logistics and Supply chain will be necessary.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
This role will be based from our Lutterworth site with travel to other sites required.

Key Duties of IT Project Manager;


Facilitate the definition of project scope, requirements, and deliverables utilizing Culina's standard documentation. Define project tasks and resource requirements using Culina's standardized documentation procedures. Manage the project budget aligning with business expectations and budgetary commitments. Lead and assemble project teams effectively. Develop, control, and communicate project plans, timelines, and milestones efficiently. Track and report project deliverables to both the project team and stakeholders. Identify and manage inter-project dependencies and critical paths effectively.
Manage risks, issues, and changes continuously, highlighting pertinent risks to the PMO. Provide progress reports, proposals, and presentations as per PMO framework requirements. Ensure smooth transition of deliverables requiring steady-state support to relevant teams. Ensure adherence to legal and procurement processes. Conclude the project, ensuring comprehensive documentation of lessons learned.
Adhere to applicable policies, frameworks, standards, and guidelines specific to the project. Generate reports for key stakeholders as mandated by the PMO framework. Responsible for acquiring and coordinating internal and nominated 3rd-party resources to deliver projects within set parameters. Coordinate project team efforts across business, IT, and external domains. Negotiate with.
resource owners to secure project targets. Define roles and responsibilities for the project team. Collaborate with procurement teams for 3rd-party contract negotiations. Establish project sponsorship and steering groups as necessary.
Engage with key stakeholders to ensure proper governance throughout the project lifecycle. Regularly monitor and report progress to stakeholders and steering groups. Cultivate and maintain crucial business relationships essential for project success. Demonstrate effective communication and influencing skills to build confidence among business and colleagues. Support and promote an inclusive and respectful work culture. Encourage collaboration through transparent and inclusive communication. Lead projects with integrity, making proactive and decisive decisions when faced with challenges.

Qualifications:

To Apply for the role of IT Project Manager, you will posses the below skills, experience and qualifications:

Degree or relevant solid project management experience.
Business and/or computing related apprenticeship/degree.
Proven experience in project, people management, project planning, requirements management, change management, supplier management, risk & issue management.
Proven experience in sponsor and stakeholder management.
Ability to 'think out the box' and when under pressure.
Experience in reviewing strategy, understanding, and applying to project based work.
Excellent communicator.
Knowledge of IT applications.
Experience in the successful implementation of complex projects.
Ideally previous experience in Warehousing, Logistics, FMCG.
Willingness to travel as and where needed.
Maybe required to work outside of normal business hours.
