Hours: 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday

The Role

Business Development is the key to growth in a high-performing sales team. This role is the first line in communication with potential clients who can benefit from Krome’s solutions and services.

It is also a kick start to your sales career in a supportive & dynamic sales team. As an entry-level position into IT Solutions Sales, it will ensure you are set up for success and have a clear sales career pathway.

This exciting role within a fast-moving and progressive IT environment will suit someone who ideally has a strong understanding of the sales process, is great at opening and building on relationships and is able to use the appropriate tools to research leads.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for making the early-stage calls and engaging the leads for the Business Manager team; from cold calling, utilizing partner/distributor relationships, social media and a variety of online activities, focusing on net new clients to create opportunities for Krome’s products, services & solutions
  • You will be responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline of interested clients and engaging at all levels to progress the opportunity to a qualified stage
  • Utilising and keeping information up to date within the Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool
  • Arranging meetings between clients and the Business Manager team
  • Reporting to the Sales Management team on a regular basis with regards to progress
  • You will receive full product training and sales mentoring, to enable you to sell Krome’s market-leading, solutions, products, and services, delivering true value to our clients

Requirements:

  • A confident and quick learner with an enthusiasm for new technologies and an aptitude for learning
  • A passion for sales
  • Goal orientated and driven to succeed
  • Able to work towards targets and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a successful team, contributing to wider team targets
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to converse with high level decision-makers to drive relationships
  • Familiarity with or a background of IT knowledge is preferable
  • Prior knowledge of a sales process/cycle will be a considerable benefit
  • Personable and a strong team player, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate well with the Krome Sales and Technical teams and Clients
  • Close proximity to our Chertsey office is preferable, so a local postcode would be ideal, but not essential
