My client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join their expanding service desk team in Hove. The successful candidate will become a crucial member of their service desk, with opportunities for career advancement.

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a IT Service Desk Team Leader?

  • Manage multiple tickets and projects efficiently.
  • Assist with technical support requests and handle 2nd line tickets and projects.
  • Serve as an escalation point for ticket management within the team.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation.
  • Meet and exceed SLAs.
  • Ensure effective communication with both customers and staff.
  • Report directly to and collaborate closely with the senior management team.

IT Service Desk Team Leader

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience handling multiple tickets and incoming requests in a high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional customer service and engagement skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • 2nd Line Service Desk experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, and NPS.
  • Experience with network technologies, such as firewalls, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi.
  • Experience with cloud solutions like Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.
  • Familiarity with storage solutions, including NAS and SharePoint.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools.
  • Proficiency with Professional Services Automation (PSA) management.
  • Experience with document management systems.
