IT Support Engineer

Location: Kidderminster
Salary: £25,000-£35,000 per year

Are you a talented IT support professional seeking an exciting opportunity to further your career with a vibrant and fast-paced organisation? Applause IT is recruiting for an IT Support Engineer for a leading telecoms and technology company.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote support to resolve customer issues, acting as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd Line Engineers.
  • Manage complex issues to resolution via telephone, email, and remote-control sessions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, prioritise and manage open tickets, and monitor responses.
  • Ensure customer processes and documentation are up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on technical experience.
  • Proficiency with Windows & MAC Desktop Operating Systems, O365 Administration, Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN), VPN systems, Microsoft Azure, VMWare, and Citrix.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
