Are you an IT Engineer with a background in enhancing an organisation's information technology through the installation, configuration, and performance monitoring of all hardware and systems infrastructure? Our Manufacturing and Engineering client is looking for a hands-on and technically astute IT Engineer to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support on a full range of IT and Communications systems. Strong Microsoft stack experience needed.
IT Engineer Job Description
Log and resolve tickets, fault-find and resolve IT issues
Desktop, server, and hardware/software support
Installing PC’s/Laptops
Supporting users on Office 365, Active Directory etc
Main technologies used are Windows OS (desktop 7,8,10 and server 2008. 2012+)
Experience of working on various projects (cyber security, telephone and laptop rollouts, server upgrades, server room configurations etc)
IT Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office Systems: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Security, Azure, Defender
Strong experience of providing 1st and 2nd line end user support (Microsoft 365 environment)
