Our client is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their growing IT services team in Bromsgrove. This on-site role offers hands-on experience with desktop support, software/application troubleshooting, and IT Projects. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing technical assistance to end users and ensuring the smooth operation of systems.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1st & 2nd line IT support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
* Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, and peripheral device problems.
* Support software applications, including installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
* Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and user account administration.
* Maintain patch management, security updates, and system backups.
* Document support tickets and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
* Assist with IT asset management and procurement of hardware/software.
* Work towards Microsoft & Azure Certifications for career progression.

Ideal Candidate
2+ years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
Experience in desktop support, troubleshooting software, and application issues.
Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
