The salary - £55k - £65k

The location – Edinburgh

Hybrid working is an option for this role with the expectation of the successful candidate attending the office 1 – 2 days a week.

I’m working with a global fintech organisation as they look to continue to grow their operations in Scotland. The successful candidate will help support with new Azure solutions while enhancing their current cloud platforms by utilising best practice for virtualization technologies. This role is a core part of the team that supports key business infrastructure, providing solutions that are tailored to client requirements.

Your day-to-day:

• You’ll implement and support new technology projects.
• Management of multi-tenant platforms.
• Respond to alerts through the organisations ticketing system, ensuring that they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Work alongside both on-site and remote support teams to respond to escalated issues.
• Provide SME support and support to new client onboardings.

About you:

• You’ll have 5+ years experience in IT support positions, with 2+ years experience as a Systems or Infrastructure Engineer.
• You’ll have strong technical skills in Azure cloud technologies.
• Azure certifications are highly desirable.
• You’ll have experience with virtualisation technology including VMWare.
• Experience with Microsoft applications, Windows Servers and Active Directory.
• Experience with Citrix, Veeam and storage technologies.
• A strong understanding of using remote access platforms.
• MSP or other client facing experience is highly desirable.
