Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading consultancy based in London who are currently looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis.

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily IT infrastructure support across various locations, encompassing tasks such as:

  • Supervising existing procedures
  • Identifying and resolving software and hardware issues on both Mac and Windows platforms, across diverse systems and applications
  • Supporting workspace members with shared service inquiries
  • Overseeing the IT service desk (including asset inventory, change management, etc.)
  • Managing all tiers of support for the IT helpdesk
  • Ensuring timely software and firmware updates
  • Addressing problems related to the print, copy, and scan functions of the printing systems, guaranteeing functionality for users

Additionally, you will play a key role in:

  • Aiding in the rollout of new software and hardware
  • Ensuring that technical support and solution implementations adhere to change management procedures and best practices
  • Collaborating with the Head of Technology to diagnose and resolve network issues, working with our ISP to provide technical support for the LAN/WAN/VPN environment, VLAN network, and wireless network topology
  • Providing technical support for ad-hoc business projects (including software implementation and one-off member services)
