Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Teacher to join our team in Blaenau Gwent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about education and technology, looking to make a significant impact on students' learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective IT lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching materials that cater to a range of learning abilities.
  • Assess, record, and report on students' progress and development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching practices.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and school events as required.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching IT at secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in training opportunities.

Working Hours: 
  • This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, following the school's operating hours. Covering maternity leave.?
