IT Vendor Management Lead - Birmingham

IT Vendor Management Lead required for a leading client based in Birmingham. My client is currently seeking an IT Vendor Management Lead to come on board to align vendor performance objectives and relationship management activity with objectives and sourcing strategies. This aims to ensure optimal supplier performance. The ideal candidate will have exposure to the procurement, commercial and legal sectors.

Key skills:

  • Strong experience within IT Vendor Management
  • Strong understanding of product environtments and how supplier contract management is affected
  • Effective use of analystical data to display and present business performance
  • Strong experience surrounding PQQ and ITT processes
  • Previous experience leading IT vendor management teams
  • Strong procurement, legal and commercial sector knowledge
  • Extensive experience utilising IT frameworks and procedures
  • Excellent stakeholder liaison skills and experience
  • Ability to lead management of vendors to meet KPIs and objectives through benchmarking
    Strong experience managing operational performance of suppliers, as well as stakeholder relationships
  • Effectively implement vendor service improvement through identifying opportunities/drawbacks
  • Experience leading workshops for external suppliers to create innovative solutions
  • Solid understanding of cost optimisation while contributing to service improvement
