Japanese speaking Vice President

A major global bank based in London is currently recruiting a Japanese-speaking Vice President to work in their planning team for their European Corporate Banking Department.

In this role you will be responsible for the business planning and promotion, business management, change management, and other planning related activities.

TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
SALARY: TBC
START: ASAP
LOCATION: London (Hybrid working available)

Japanese-speaking Vice President - Planning Main Responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement practical business plans and strategies together with the senior management
• Manage and monitor key performance indicators and other measurable targets such as, P/L, RWA, and headcount, and report regularly to senior management
• Support senior management to determine optimal resource allocation, including headcount, budget, and target setting
• Initiate and coordinate change projects
• Any other ad-hoc planning related matters activities that has been requested by the senior management

Japanese-speaking Vice President - Planning Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in Banking business, especially in Japanese Businesses
• Business level of fluency in both English and Japanese
• Excellent PC (Excel, Power point) skills
• Excellent coordination, management, and leadership skills
• Presentation, communication skills and interpersonal skills (empathy, influence, assertion/persuasion etc.)
• Data management and analysis skill
• Understanding in strategy and policy
• Experience in liaising between Head Office and the region
• Permanent resident or able to work without visa sponsorship, including in the future
