Java Engineer - DV Cleared - £550.00 per day Outside IR35 - Onsite

Day Rate: Up to £550.00 per day (Outside IR35)

Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extensions)

Office Location: Cheltenham & London (5 days per week at either office is required)

Clearances: MUST HAVE Active DV Clearance

A Cheltenham based defence tech company are looking for a DV Cleared Java Engineer on a contract basis for at least the next 6 months.

You will be part of an on-site team responsible for maintaining and supporting a managed cross-domain service utilizing diverse technologies, platforms, and tools.

The team uses site reliability engineering tools and practices to continuously verify and enhance the service.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Java Spring Boot microservice development
• Infrastructure-as-code tools - Terraform / Ansible
• OpenShift or Kubernetes
• Asynchronous messaging platforms e.g. AMQP
• S3 object storage tools and techniques
• RDBMS platforms - Oracle / similar
• Git version control
• Knowledge of XML / XSD
