Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 15:30 (37 hours per week)

Pay: £15.62 per hour

Duration: Ongoing work for the right candidate - No end date

We are looking for an experienced joiner to join our Internal Planned Maintenance team in Darlington. This project runs 50 weeks a year, working in occupied council houses to upgrade kitchens, bathrooms, and essential fittings.

About the Role

As part of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Fitting kitchens from drawings. Worktops are delivered cut to length plus 100mm and edged
  • Installing kitchens using joint strips. No mason mitres
  • Constructing boxings in kitchens, bathrooms, and separate WCs if applicable
  • Installing skirtings, fitting kitchen window sills, and plying bathroom floors
  • Completing wall boarding and other joinery tasks as directed by the site manager
