Our client, who is a local housing provider, is seeking a qualified joiner to become an integral part of their responsive repair team.

Duties:-

  • Completing Joinery repairs at our customers’ homes and in our empty properties to a high standard
  • Ordering materials and managing stock
  • Responsible for managing a company vehicle and commuting to/from work in company vehicle
  • Ensuring all work orders are completed and minimise follow on work
  • Prioritise workloads daily to deliver an excellent customer service
  • Completing jobs right first time
  • Ensuring safe working practices in line with current Health & Safety policy & procedures
  • Maintaining a professional manner whilst completing repairs

Essential Criteria:-

  • City & Guilds or NVQ2 or equivalent in Joinery
  • Full driving licence
  • Experience of working in a customer focussed environment
  • Experience of working in the construction sector
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge in the workplace
  • Willingness to carry out multiskilling in other trades

Desirable Criteria:-

  • Social housing experience
  • Working in a property maintenance environment
  • Ability to use a PDA or electronic job system

Location: Burnley

Salary: From £15.50 per hour

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: 36.25 per week
