Our client who is an Insurance Brokers is looking for a Junior Account Handler to join their expanding theatre team in the Grays, Essex office. The purpose of the role is to assist the team with the management of client relationships and successfully placing their insurance policies.

Would be ideal for a recent school/ college (or equivalent) that's keen to start a career within insurance in a broking environment.

Main Duties:

  • Dealing with commercial theatre packages- property, liability, cancellation, cyber.
  • Liaising directly with clients.
  • Working on a delegated authority scheme- underwriting.

Essential Skills Required:

  • Needs to be able to drive (due to office in remote location).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good IT skills.

Desirable:

  • Good organisational skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of insurance.
