Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, Plus Benefits

The Company:

My client is a niche Acoustic Consultancy based near Luton. They cover environmental and building Acoustics, including noise modelling, acoustic reports, and technical reports for British Standards compliance. They are looking for a Junior Acoustic Consultant to join their growing team near Luton. Established for 20 years, the company have a wide range of clients across England.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking various noise impact assessments.
  • Collating the data to write factual reports for clients.
  • Completing sound and noise surveys.
  • Junior Acoustic Consultants may provide Graduate Consultants with guidance.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • One year experience as an Acoustic Consultant, is required.
  • A membership of the Institute of Acoustics.
  • Knowledge of British Standards, BS8233 and BS4142.
  • Experience using Acoustic modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadna).
  • A relevant degree in Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree with relevant modules will also be considered.
