Junior Acoustic Consultant

My client is an independent acoustic consultancy with over five decades of experience in the industry. They specialise in a diverse range of acoustic services, encompassing architectural and building acoustics, environmental noise management, and providing expert input on planning issues associated with sound and acoustics. Their extensive expertise and proven track record have positioned them as a trusted organisation in the acoustics sector.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in acoustic engineering or a related discipline
  • At least one year of hands-on experience in conducting sound and noise surveys
  • Membership in the Institute of Acoustics (IOA)
  • Possession of a valid UK driver's licence
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Compile technical data from assessments to generate comprehensive reports
  • Conduct surveys and evaluations on noise and vibration using modelling software
  • Cultivate effective communication channels and sustain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Work closely with various cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project delivery and adherence to deadlines
