We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Business Pricing Analyst to join our accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will bring analytical skills and a knack for financial forecasting.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Junior Business Pricing Analyst are:

· Provide analytical support to the FBPs

· Providing a range of product level analysis to support decision making for the Category teams / key stakeholders with a structured approach

· Analysing opportunities on consolidated spends, whilst understanding and interpreting complex pricing structures.

· Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including procurement, Category and Finance teams

· Co-ordinating and tracking of pricing, analysis, and summarising in a meaningful to ensure insight and outcomes can be gained from the information

· Understanding available data sources, how these integrate with each other and providing a means to bring them together in excel

· Creation of commercial analyses in a wide range of workstreams supporting business decision making and providing insight for both Internal and external stakeholders

· Ability to understand/model complex commercial rebate & pricing structures - summarising findings for varying audiences (Finance, Account Management, Procurement, Suppliers & Clients)

· Scenario Modelling/what if analysis, delivering dynamic/manipulable summaries to support & expedite business decision & sign off process

· Delivering initiative-taking ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decision making

· Visibility at business head offices to support operators as and when the business requires

· Understanding the business commercial model & how our procurement deals integrate with it

· Monitoring & auditing own workings / outputs for accuracy and relevance

Profile

A successful Junior Business Pricing Analyst should have:

Essential:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • High numeric and analytical skills and diligence
  • Comfortable developing and working with complex spreadsheets
  • Ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically
  • Ability to analyse, evaluate and present information concisely

Desirable:

  • Good organisational skills
  • Confidence to make recommendations and advise the team
