Complete Electronics Ltd is a manufacturing and distribution business looking for a Junior Buyer to join the team. This is an opportunity to join a family run business offering a friendly office-based environment who can grow and develop with the business.

As the Junior Buyer you will be rewarded with:

What will the appointed Junior Buyer be doing?

  • Issue requests for quotes and select the best supplier consistent with cost and delivery requirements.
  • Purchase order placement to include the purchase of goods, materials, or services meeting cost and delivery targets.
  • Monitor and adjust rescheduling of purchase orders as required.
  • Expedite past due orders and work backlog reports as needed.
  • Clearly communicate order status to sales and production managers.
  • Maintain professional supplier relationships.
  • Keep accurate records of all orders within MRP.
  • Research and evaluate existing and potential suppliers.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities.

The Junior Buyer would ideally have:

  • Experience in an electronics manufacturing industry or electronics component knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills is a must and a confident communicator at all levels.
  • Experience using an inhouse MRP Systems as well as MS Office suites.
  • SAGE Accounts
  • Strong administrative experience and skills
  • Flexible and able to manage priorities, resolve problems, and escalate issues in a fast-paced environment.

Working hours:

Monday - Thursday 8:00am- 4pm

Friday - 8.00am - 3pm
