The Junior CDM Principal Designer Role:

The successful Junior CDM Principal Designer will be part of a dynamic team, providing comprehensive Principal Designer and CDM advisory services across a variety of projects. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to build a career in construction design management and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing Principal Designer services on a range of projects.
• Support the preparation and review of pre-construction information, construction phase plans, and health and safety files.
• Conduct design risk assessments and assist in implementing hazard elimination strategies.
• Participate in site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support the delivery of CDM and health and safety training sessions to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate health and safety into the design and construction processes.

The Junior CDM Principal Designer Role:

• Degree in a construction-related field is preferred.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or willingness to obtain it.
• Membership with IOSH or APS, or willingness to work towards membership.
• Basic understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in using relevant software and tools.
