Role Responsibilities

  • Champion the company's compliance with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations.
  • Own all aspects of UK regulatory reporting for their Open Banking & Payments licences.
  • Partner with the Head of UK Compliance and senior leadership to manage 'high-focus' areas for the FCA, including reporting, customer complaints, and notifications.
  • Provide insightful compliance advice on new and existing regulated financial services products.
  • Support the company's continued compliant growth within the international market.


Person Specification

  • Proven experience with regulatory reporting, ideally within the financial services sector.
  • Good knowledge of the FCA and its regulations, with a specific focus on payments activities.
  • A strong understanding of the Payment Services Directive (PSD2) and its implications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across the organisation.
  • A meticulous and detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting.
  • A degree in Law, Finance, Business, or an equivalent qualification (desirable).
  • Prior experience within banks, Fin-Tech companies, payment service providers, or consultancies (a plus).
