Junior First Line Support

Robert Half is working with a global market leading private equity firm based in London, seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior First Line Support Engineer for an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities:

The Junior First Line Support Engineer will be expected to complete the following:

• Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

• Provide support for Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS, and other commonly used applications within the firm.

• Log and track all incidents and service requests in the IT service management system, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including workstations, monitors, and meeting rooms.

Profile:

The Junior First Line Support Engineer should have the following:

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills supporting VIP users.

• Graduate from a relevant Bachelors Degree

• Ability to break down complex issues into simple terms for non-technical users
• 1-2 years experience with contract IT support
• Ability to commute into their London office

Organisation:

• Market leading Private equity firm
• £110 - £150 per day - depending on experience
• 5 Days on site, based in their Central London Office
