Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Job 

We are looking for a junior full-stack developer to join our development team working on our in-house reverse logistics application.  Our developers work at three levels with this role being the most junior.  You will work alongside our senior full-stack developer to deliver work for our exciting clients as well as Unipart internal functions. At Unipart we have a strong focus on the development of our people, and this role will provide ample opportunity to build on your existing technical skills.

As part of your key responsibilities you will:
  • Support the development and maintenance of our reverse logistics solution for both external client and internal roadmap projects
  • Resolve project issues in a timely manner 
  • Provide regular project communication and status reports 
  • Create and maintain documentation, including work instructions, configuration items, and best practices 
  • Follow established policies and procedures whilst also recommending potential enhancement and / or improvements to help to define best-practice
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure business solutions are aligned to our product roadmap

About You

Essential
  • Experience in JavaScript, and with using React and Material UI
  • Back end development experience using Python
  • Experience using the Django framework
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • Excellent Communication skills including effective listening and written communication skills
Desirable
  • Experience in logistics and supply chain where a knowledge of warehousing has been obtained
  • Experience of deploying code, and managing test VMs with orchestration tools such as Ansible
  • Experience of delivering projects as part of a team
  • Shell Scripting 
  • Familiarity with Linux Operating System
