The Company:

An established fashion brand based in Manchester, are looking for an experienced ladies multi product Fashion Junior Garment Technologist/QC, to join their team. The company offer great prospects and a lovely team environment working with established customers.

The Role:

  • Fitting samples and advising amendments to factories or making recommendations to customers
  • Processing all samples and comments accurately and within a timely manner
  • Reading, checking & approving test reports and issuing care instructions
  • Arranging and assessing 3rd part AQL reports
  • Ensure all orders are processed in a timely fashion according to an agreed critical path
  • Measuring samples and checking for make quality, performing re-prod risk assessments on garments
  • Attending customer fit sessions as required
  • Updating merchandisers with order status and working alongside them to ensure on time delivery
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any problems as they may arise
  • Spot checking stock through the warehouse and providing necessary information to warehouse qc to ensure that all goods meet approved production standards
  • Ensuring that product delivered is meeting the influence/customer standard, prevailing legislation and any other specified requirements
  • Maintaining records and files of all the above as set out.

Skills Required:

  • Fashion Technology Degree.
  • Previous experience within a similar role working with ladies or men’s multi products.
  • Must have previously worked for a supplier of high street fashion ranges in a similar role.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Fully PC literate.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work with a methodical, no-nonsense approach.
  • Critical path knowledge.
