Junior Garment Technologist

Looking for a Junior Garment Technologist to join an on trend Fashion brand in Manchester

Daily Responsibilities:
- Creating technical specification workbooks.
- Responsible for measuring/checking all sampling for fit sessions.
- Attending fit sessions, ensuring comments are recorded.
- Attend Critical path meetings to ensure deadlines are maintained.
- Monitoring all styles development/orders daily, to ensure timelines are met.
- Replying to email queries from suppliers.
- Reviewing care labels and packaging.
- Ensuring filing and rails are organised.
- Liaising with warehouse/customer service team, performing stock checks.
- Providing technical support to Buying, Merchandising, and Design team.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a womenswear function, with a strong focus on multi-product.
- Ability to fit accurately and at speed is essential.
in-depth knowledge of fabric bases and their performance on the body.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Confident in your abilities, able to voice opinions and ideas professionally.
- Highly organised, agile, and able to prioritise in a busy office environment with frequent changes in priorities.
- Passionate about the product, constantly seeking improvements for the brand and customer.
