Junior Infrastructure Architect

Quest Search & Selection are currently partnering with a commercial B2C, multi-site business, employing over 2,500 people nationwide.

The role of the Infrastructure Architect, will have expertise in supporting and delivering projects, installing new equipment & system migrations. Here you will bring technical knowledge and a proven track record, in the infrastructure delivery for a head office environment.

Duties & Responsibilities for this Junior Infrastructure Architect position :

• Have 2 + years experience in a similar role
• Installation and Management on Virtual and Physical Server Build.
• Backup, DR and BCP Implementation and Testing.
• Providing network security
• Providing desktop support during holidays and sick leave.
• Monitoring infrastructure and resolving faults.
• Providing third-line support.
• Traveling to satellite offices and working after hours when necessary.

To be successful in this Junior Infrastructure Architectposition:

• Ideally having skills in Windows Server 2008-2019 and client operating systems (7/8/10/11)
• That you have understanding of Microsoft Exchange on-premises & VPN technologies.
• You must have experience in MS Active Directory management and maintenance.
• Providing third-line support for infrastructure service incidents.
• That you have some understanding of VOIP and SIP systems.
• Desirable skills in:
• Knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls (Layer 3 switches, VLANs)
• HPE Nimble Storage.
• Experience with HPE ProLiant server hardware.
• Preferred professional vendor-level certifications: MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, MCTS, CCNA.
