Junior IT Engineer - Guildford Area - £25,000 + Van, Fuel Card & Paid Overtime

The Company:

Join Lorien in partnership with a UK-based software development company specializing in bespoke applications for the education sector. Due to business growth, they seek a Field Engineer to provide technical support to their clients.

The Role

Your role will be field-based, visiting customer sites to diagnose and resolve technical faults and perform break-fix tasks. You will respond to client calls daily, assisting with hardware and software issues.

This position offers excellent training and progression opportunities, including pathways to become a Lead Engineer involved in full installations and upgrades.

The Requirements:

We're looking for candidates with a blend of the following skills:

  • Motivation and desire to work in a field-based role
  • General knowledge of IT systems (Software Installs, Network Connectivity)
  • Must have a valid driving licence
  • Some knowledge of payment devices (EPOS/POS, etc.) is advantageous
  • Interest in technology and computer software, especially in an education context or as a personal interest
  • Excellent communication skills
