About the Role: As a Junior IT Security Analyst, you will work closely with the IT Security Operations Manager to ensure the companies security posture remains robust. You'll be responsible for vulnerability scanning, patch management, anti-virus compliance, and more. This role is perfect for someone looking to step up and take on more responsibilities in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular vulnerability scans and manage remediation efforts.
• Oversee patch management and security updates.
• Ensure anti-virus compliance and report on security anomalies.
• Collaborate with IT teams and third parties to maintain border security.
• Implement server and desktop OS hardening techniques.
• Support compliance with security certifications like Cyber Essentials+, ISO27001, and GDPR.
• Stay updated on the latest IT security threats and measures.

Key Skills Needed:

• Experience with Windows operating systems, both server and desktop.
• Knowledge of cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
• Understanding of vulnerability scanning, patch management, anti-virus, and DLP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
