Role: Junior Management Accountant

Location: North-West London

Salary: £35-40k + study support & benefits

This is a dynamic and forward-thinking technology start-up based in London. They partner with global brands to providing excellent solutions for retaining and rewarding new/existing customers through their platform.

Due to continuous growth, they are looking to hire a talented Junior Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. This role will initially be 4 days in office for training, then 3 days hybrid.

ROLE

The Junior Management Accountant for this exciting tech start-up based in north-west London, will work closely with the Financial Controller in supporting day-to-day accounting & management accounts work. They will be responsible for a number of key duties including:

  • Postage of journals - accruals & prepayments.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Onus of accounts receivable processes and managing credit control.
  • Accurate bank reconciliations on a daily basis.
  • Production of monthly profit & loss reporting.
  • Supporting with documentation for year-end tax filings.
  • Authorising and processing overhead invoices.
  • Reconciling the supplier statements.
  • Assisting Financial Controller with ad hoc duties.

PROFILE

The ideal profile for this progressive Junior Management Accountant role, should have the following attributes:

  • 2+ years of experience within a similar accounting capacity with strong month-end experience (accruals & prepayments).
  • Part-qualified or actively studying towards a recognised qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
  • Experience with Xero and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills!
  • Previous experience within a tech start-up would be advantageous.
