REED have partnered with a forward-thinking company in the fashion industry who is seeking a Junior Merchandiser to join their dynamic team. As a Junior Merchandiser, you’ll be an integral part of their dynamic team, contributing to the optimisation of inventory management, sales analysis, and strategic product placement. If you have a background in online or retail fashion, this role is perfect for you!

Job Title: Junior Merchandiser
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum (based on qualifications and experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to plan and execute product assortments.
  • Monitor inventory levels, replenishment, and stock movement.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and inform buying decisions.
  • Forecast seasonal trends.
  • Prepare weekly, quarterly, and seasonal trade and inventory performance reports.
  • Conduct post-promotion analysis to identify successes and areas for improvement.
  • Perform website analysis.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in retail merchandising, inventory management, or retail analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
