I am currently recruiting for a pharmaceutical testing laboratory who are looking to hire a quality officer for their team based in Cambridgeshire

Job responsibilities:

Responsible for implementing relevant quality standards for the laboratory
Responsible for maintaining the laboratory Quality documentation
Responsible for ensuring all equipment records, calibration & monitoring is carried out by relevant laboratory staff and that appropriate records are maintained
Ensure any internal/external proficiency programs are conducted and reported accurately
Ensure correct functioning of the quality system
Make sure everyone within the laboratory understand the quality system
Control, issue and maintain documents within the Quality System.
Support in internal and external audits
Maintain and review all records of customer complaints, non-conforming work and preventative actions,
making recommendations for improvements where applicable.

Qualifications required to do this role:

Degree in Science or equivalent- This role is suitable for a recent science graduate
The ability to work on your own and manage projects to tight deadlines with a good understanding of the laboratory methods and techniques.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Ability to interpret complex results, identify, analyse trends and patterns, and make sound recommendations
