We are working with an international law firm who are seeking a Junior Receptionist to work at their offices based centrally in the City of London.

You will be the first point of contact for clients, candidates, and visitors, embodying the professionalism and efficiency of the firm. Your primary duties will include:

- Answering telephone calls professionally

- Managing meeting room reservations using a computerised system

- Welcoming and providing VIP treatment to clients and visitors

- Assisting with hotel bookings and airport transfers for clients and visiting lawyers

- Coordinating with other receptionists, the catering team, and AV team for bookings

- Supporting secretaries, partners, associates, and staff in managing appointments

- Preparing meeting rooms and handling video conferencing equipment

- Arranging executive cars and taxis

- Organising catering services for meetings

- Issuing security cards to staff and guests responsibly

- Collaborating with the building reception team for large events and seminars

- Performing general administrative duties

- Provide exceptional service to all telephone inquiries

- Efficiently manage meeting room bookings and provide alternatives as needed

- Ensure the reception area and meeting rooms are always immaculate

- Assist with various administrative tasks, including filing and data entry

- Serve refreshments to guests and maintain a tidy client area

- Work flexible hours to cover shifts (10 am - 6 pm, with holiday cover for shifts 8 am - 4 pm / 1 pm - 9 pm)

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

- At least 12 months of experience in a legal or professional services environment

- Proficiency in basic IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and strong written communication

- Excellent verbal communication and a customer-focused approach

- Strong attention to detail, able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

- Willingness to work overtime and provide cover at short notice

- A proactive, positive attitude and a team player

- Interest in personal development and training

- Fire Warden/First Aid experience is a plus
