Our client, a prestigious private members club near Ascot, Berkshire is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join their talented team.

Hours:
The working week will be 45 hours per week from April to September and 35 hours per week October to March, working 5 days out of 7. Straight shifts, mainly daytimes with very few evenings.

Junior Sous Chef duties include:
*To prepare and cook food for all menus to the standards required.
*To assist in menu development
*To cook using recipes as required at all times.
*Stock control and due diligence checks
*Complying with the Health & Safety at Work and Hygiene regulations

The ideal Junior Sous Chef would have/be:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a culinary role as a sous chef or similar position
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Knowledgeable with food safety regulations
- Experience in supervising and leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
