Junior UK Fixed Income Sales Trader

Position Overview: Our client is embarking on an exciting expansion of their secondary sales and trading capacity and are searching for professionals with a proven track record in fixed income markets. We're looking for candidates with backgrounds in either investment banking, broker dealer or agency broking environments, with a specialisation in the UK market. This presents an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team, engage with a product pipeline and play a pivotal role in our client's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

Foster and nurture relationships with institutional investors and wealth managers.

Execute trades and facilitate transactions in high yield, investment-grade, illiquid and specialist bonds and loans.

Collaborate closely with the Debt Capital Markets team to seize new issue opportunities.

Offer invaluable market insights and strategic guidance to clients, leveraging your expertise in fixed income.

Qualifications:

Proven track record up to 2 years in fixed income sales trading within either an investment bank,  broker dealer or agency broking environment.

Extensive knowledge of the UK fixed income market, with a strong focus on the secondary market.

Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with an unwavering attention to detail.

A results-oriented mindset coupled with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service to clients.
