Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join on of our primary schools in Harrogate. This role is focused on supporting Key Stage 1 students, particularly with phonics and core subjects. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to ensure that all students receive the guidance and support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom-based support to Key Stage 1 students.
• Assist with the teaching of phonics and core subjects.
• Work under the guidance of the class teacher to deliver tailored support.
• Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support the individual needs of students to promote their educational development.

Requirements:

• Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of Key Stage 1 curriculum and phonics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for working with children.
