In this Key Worker opportunity in Chesterfield, you will join a charity assisting vulnerable Individuals In crisis and needing a safe haven to seek advice and guidance from point of entry to the service .

In this Key Worker job, your responsibilities will include:

• Offer support from first point of entry Into the service - lending a friendly manner to encourage safety and non-judgemental advice
• Working with people offered supported opportunities for them to Improve their quality of life, develop their skills and make decisions about their life
• Helping to promote Individuality, Independence and recovery
• Responding appropriately to challenging behaviours to promote well-being of people and staff on site
• Liaise with Referral teams and agencies regarding vacancies and referrals - also authorises such as police, ambulance and social workers
• Assessing and reviewing future housing and support needs, Identifying and coordinating Internal and external services In response to these
• Participate In 24 hours rota to ensure cover Is maintained for service delivery where appropriate

• Proven track record of working In a key Worker role previously - will need experience of working In homelessness / domestic violence / substance misuse or mental health
• Holds an enhanced DBS child and adult cleared - Issued In the last 12 months or on the update service
• Flexible to work over days, evening and weekends when required
