Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Pay: £12.82 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at a vibrant school in Bury St Edmunds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a supportive environment with a friendly team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals.
• Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are clean and tidy.
• Washing up and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Following health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Supporting the catering team with daily tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the school.
