This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT to become a valued member in a friendly and supportive primary school.

The role

As a bright ECT, you will be teaching KS1.  The role is full time and perfect for an ECTs first year working. As a key function of the role, you will be required to foster a learning environment and educational experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to fulfil their individual potential. 

As a KS1 ECT teacher, you will also be responsible for using a variety of teaching delivery methods appropriate to the individual learning styles, and the varying demands of the curriculum while keeping pupils engaged.

The ideal candidate

The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils’ success and therefore you must have the following:

• QTS required
• Have proven success in your teaching career to date
• Have experience teaching during placements
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ensure pupil safety inside and outside of the classroom
