Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for September! We are supporting a local school in the Pocklington area with their recruitment of an SEND Teaching Assistant! This role is from September and possibly for the full academic year. This is a full time, long-term role with a daily rate of between £85-£95 per day. The role is based in KS1 with a high needs SEND Pupil who is starting the school in September.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for supporting children with SEND and ECHP's. The ideal Teaching Assistant will have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and will be able to use a range of supporting children with diverse learning needs. Experience in a similar role not limited to education may be considered. The school has a diverse range of needs in the school.

Located in near Pocklington, the school boasts a range of great benefits, including free on-site parking and fantastic facilities. The school support ages 3-11 and are set in a picturesque location. The school is central to the village and serves a wider area and community.

  • Hold Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover since Secondary School with all gaps accounted for
  • Legal right to work in the UK
