KS1 Teacher - September Start

  • Position: KS1 Teacher
  • Start Date: September 2024 (Flexible)
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience (£30,000 - £56,959)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons to a diverse range of students.
  • Collaborate with various schools in Derbyshire.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and progress.
  • Employ diverse teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies.

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for a new DBS).
  • Strong curriculum knowledge.
  • Experience in SEND settings (desirable).
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their maximum potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, willingness, and adaptability to contribute to the wider school and local community.
  • Excellent behaviour management strategies.
  • Enhance student engagement and enjoyment of the wider curriculum.
  • Support children with additional needs.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to best support each child individually.
