Requirements:
  • At least a 2:2 bachelor’s degree.
  • A natural ability to build strong relationships with KS2 pupils.
  • Passion for the learning of young people.
  • A flexible, patient personality.
  • Previous experience of working with young learners, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.

The Role
As a KS2 Academic Coach, you will provide 1-2-1 and small group interventions to KS2 pupils to aid the development of their literacy and numeracy skills. You will play a vital role in the preparation of KS2 pupils as they approach their SATs and will act as a primary source of support for pupils. You will work in close collaboration with teaching staff to create a positive learning environment and will build strong bonds with pupils and staff.
