Your new schoolWe are working in partnership with a 'Good' primary school in Kilburn who are on the hunt for a key stage 2 teacher and phase leader.

Your role as a KS2 Teacher and Phase Lead

  • Create and plan captivating lessons aligned with learning objectives.
  • Lead and manage the curriculum.
  • Contribute to whole staff development and planning.
  • Set targets, considering students' prior knowledge and skills.
  • Adhere to school and national assessment guidelines. Keep meticulous records and communicate student progress effectively.
  • Teach children who have English as a second language.
  • Supervise Learning Support Assistants and other classroom aides.
  • Participate actively in primary school duties, overseeing playtimes and leading school-wide and class assemblies.


What you will need to succeed in this key stage 2 teacher and phase lead job:A successful candidate will:

  • Must hold QTS status.
  • Have phase leader experience.
  • Have recent experience of working in primary schools in the UK.
  • Have good interpersonal skills.
  • Show good standards of professionalism, being well-organised and capable of working to policy and procedure to agreed timescales.
