Position: KS2 Teacher

Location: Bury

Contract: September 2024 - August 2025

Contract: Full-time

Salary: £140 - £210 per day, subject to experience

Tradewind is currently looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher for our lovely client school in Bury.

The year group is subject to your experience and skillset as the school are looking to determine their staff structure around this.

This 'Good', two-form entry school is part of a multi-academy trust, priding itself on building a positive and nurturing education environment for all students to succeed in.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support students with SEND
  • Utilise Phonics schemes of work such as Monster Phonics to foundation learning
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and providing feedback
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers to support student development

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 Students
  • Confident in planning and delivering creative and scaffolded lessons
  • Passion for creating a positive and impactful learning experience
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Enthusiasm, dedication, and a passion for teaching!
