A wonderful Primary School, part of a large South West Trust, is currently looking for a KS2 Teacher who can start from September.

This Primary School is a 2 form entry school, who are proud to provide their students with safe environments to build their self-confidence.

With extensive grounds, they can offer well-resources and excellent professional development to their staff, to ensure they provide the best learning opportunities to their students, to develop socially, emotionally and academically.

The Role

As a successful candidate, you will be working on a full-time basis as a Year 5 Teacher from September covering Maternity Leave.

The Head Teacher is looking for a forward-thinking candidate, who can work well in a team throughout the Key Stage and contribute to the school's success.

Having experience or knowledge of the KS2 curriculum is key to this position.

ECTs are welcome.

You will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons and work closely with other Year Group Teachers.

  • Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for individual children.

  • Communicate clearly with other Key Stage staff.

  • Build relationships with pupils and parents to support in school and at home needs.

  • Mark and assess children’s work in line with the marking and assessment policy.
