Randstad is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative KS3 Teacher to join a dynamic multi-academy trust teaching either KS3 or KS4 (7-11) - starting in September 2024. This role is ideal for someone eager to share their passion for both the KS3 curriculum and with their students.

About The Bridge Academy, KS3

The Bridge's curriculum is designed specifically to enable a range of students to progress in their next steps of education.At Key Stage 3, The academy offers an alternative curriculum which focuses on relationships, resilience and communication skills. Alongside more traditional subjects such as English, Maths and History, they strive to identify the barriers that a number of students are experiencing and aim to give them a toolkit to deal with situations in a better way. The main aim of the KS3 curriculum is to reintegrate back into mainstream school.

The Bridge academy also delivers in-school training and development. Many teachers have undertaken the additional training in a number of areas including: Behaviour and Culture; Dyslexia; Autism; ADHD; Sensory Processing Difficulties; Trauma Informed Practice and Emotion Coaching.

The successful candidate must be able to inspire and develop students through their teaching and knowledge of the curriculum, hold a creative approach to their lesson delivery as well as being confident in strategies to enable all students to make or exceed their levels of progress. We are looking for an English/Drama Teacher who can inspire and develop students through creative lesson delivery and a thorough knowledge of the KS3 curriculum. The ideal candidate will be confident in using strategies that help all students achieve or exceed their progress goals.
