Pertemps are looking for Lab Technicians to join our client's team in Colnbrook!

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Dependent on experience
Location: Colnbrook
Perm / Full time / Mon-Fri 08:00-17:30 

Main duties of a Lab Technician:
  • Data entry of test results
  • Following stringent quality procedures to perform testing
  • Various testing on soil and concrete
  • Liaising with the quality department to book in calibration or report equipment failure
  • Always maintaining a clean working area
  • Any other tasks assigned by your senior or lab manager
  • Assisting with UKAS audits
  • Ensuring to meet the current turn around times for in-house testing

Experience / Skills required to be a Lab Technician:
  • Educated to GCSE level or above with a good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Experience in construction laboratory testing is advantageous but not essential
  • IT literate
  • Must be comfortable with team and lone working
  • Important data entry will be a crucial part of this role, so a keen eye for detail and accuracy is essential.
