Laboratory Sampler

We are seeking a diligent Laboratory Sampler to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection of samples in line with accredited methods and ensuring compliance with the sampling safety plan. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:- Collect samples in accordance with the published programme and accredited methods.
- Adhere to the sampling safety plan and carry out exception reporting immediately as per procedures.
- Document all actions taken during the sampling process.
- Perform weekend sampling as per the roster.
- Complete all paperwork accurately and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Ensure all equipment used is within calibration expiry date and is maintained properly.
- Maintain a presentable, friendly, and knowledgeable image to the public.
- Ensure driving standards comply with company requirements.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Ability to work within the hours of 6am - 11pm, Monday to Friday, for a total of 37 hours per week.
- Reside in the Scunthorpe/Grimsby/Caistor area due to travel requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
- Ability to manage stock levels and maintain equipment.
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.78.
- Van provided for work-related travel.
