We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our chemical production department. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, enjoys working as part of a close-knit team, and has a keen interest in chemical processes.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Handle hazardous chemicals in accordance with COSHH and manufacturing procedures.
  • Assemble laboratory glassware and equipment.
  • Follow detailed manufacturing procedures for chemical synthesis and formulation.
  • Record data and results accurately under GMP/ISO 9001 guidelines.
  • Test process samples using various analytical equipment and techniques such as TLC, GC, and pH testing.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and clean equipment regularly.
  • Perform inventory reports and manage supplies.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet departmental goals.
  • Manage workload and schedule breaks to ensure timely completion of all testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education to ‘A’ level standard preferred.
  • Strong arithmetic skills and ability to perform calculations accurately.
  • Experience in handling hazardous chemicals and working under strict safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in using various analytical equipment and techniques.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures in a laboratory setting.
  • Must be able to drive
